Yeah what he said. Also look for MB2 coming out shortly, a friends viper will be featured in it.

LOL. Plans change again? You sound like me!

No not really. I've always had the desire to install a turbo'd/supercharged EFI set up. I have to swap out my pistons first to get the compression down to acceptable levels for a turbo/supercharger, but I'm trying to get my turbo/efi research done in the meantime.

How much power would you lose by switching those out and running with the lower compression for a while? Actually, I have never thought of that before. What are the dangers (if any) to that?

Did you get my email?

No dangers of droping the compressions, if anything it's quite a bit safer. How much power will you lose? hard to say, it all depends on the cam, heads, etc.

What is the comp at now? And what are the boost plans for it? If your at 10:1 with a big overlap cam now and go to 8.5 it's going to feel like a turd, but that can be expected.

No, I didn't get your email. I'm at home today so send it to my Yahoo address.

Swapping from 12.5:1 to 8:1 would be quite a drastic power loss w/o the turbo/supercharger to help 'boost' things along. My plans are to swap out the slugs (change main bearings at the same time), swap out the solid cam for a roller that'll work well with a turbo/charged application, swap out the iron heads for some aluminum units and also go EFI. Not necessarily in that order............. I think $1500-$2000 should cover everything........ LOL
