Guys,

Need some opinions.

The short and sweet is im going from my 6.0 iron block and building a 6.2 aluminum block stroker this winter. Using many of the parts below trying to save costs by reusing what I can from the current build. The pistons I got for a good deal and are brand new unused.

AFR V2 230 heads (62cc)
Wiesco .070 pistons +5cc

This will put my compression way too high to use pump gas.. If I have a custom gasket made .90 that should put me around 12.15.1.. my question is on a N/A motor will this cause me any issues with quench, reliability etc? Or should I shave some meat off the pistons.. which I really dont want to do.

Build so far.. feel free to make comments/suggestions

6.2 block
4.00 crank, 6.125 rods, .070 pistons +5cc
AFR V2 230 cathedral heads
Victor Jr
Pro Systems 1000 CFM carb
Stock rocker with Trunion kit
LS7 lifters currently but am undecided... might upgrade to CTSV or Johnsons
Custom Cam Motion cam - 246/252 111.5+2.5
TKO 600 Trans

thanks!
