Hello,

I am looking for a set of rear seats for my 69 camaro, I have the stock seats but want to have something more modern. Are there any seats that would work that are as plug and play as they can be. Matching fronts seats is a plus but I already have Recaro's so I dont really want to get rid of them but if there is a full set that matches with little modification then I might do that.

Thanks garickman, those are def nice. I should have been more specific in my original post. I was looking to see if there were production vehicle seats that could be dropped in with little to no modification.

I am planning on reupholstering an original rear seat to match my ZL1 front seats which is something you might consider. I still need to source an original back seat though.

These are seats out of a 2014 Mustang GT. I put these in my '68 Camaro with a little work. I like them and not cost prohibitive,\
I can get better pics if you'd like (the finished product)

Carl... That turned out pretty nice. Curious about the back seat, is it rigged to still fold over? If you have pix of that I'd like to see them. How did you fabricate the side "filler" panels? MDF, a little foam and then upholstered them? I'm going to be putting 2000 Pontiac TransAm front seats in my '69... after I have them recovered to match my white interior. Debating whether to just leave the back seat alone, have it modified a little to better match the TransAm seats, or do something radical like you did.

Here's a pix of the TransAm seats.

These seats have power bolsters/lumbar and the bladders aren't inflated right now, so the wrinkles will most likely tighten up once I power them. The DS is full power, the PS has the bolster/lumbar stuff but is manual on the slide. The last pix shows approximately what the seat looks like with white skins.

Did you ever try with the 5th gen seat? I'm currently reworking one to match my front seats. I have am getting pretty happy with the base, and once it, and the rail are fitting nice-and slightly narrowed, I'm hoping to have the back rest reworked and reupholstered to fit and still fold down.

You know, my rear seats out of the Mustang don't fold down. Yes, I used plywood, 3" thick foam, and bondo to sculpt what I wanted for the fillers and I tried to cover them but did a horrible job then took them to a upholstering shop here in town. I do think I've got pictures somewhere of building the fillers. maybe on the forum somewhere. I am very happy with the way they turned out.
