Radio Shack's 69 PT Camaro vert RC

I was at Radio Shack today and as soon as I walked in a 69 pt camaro vert rc car caught my eye.

It is about 2 feet long, red w/black stripes and has the yearone fiberglass hood on it. After reading the box it has the HOTROD mag logo and the Yearone logo on the box. That's funny I recall HOTROD discounting Pro Touring as a fad that has run its course. Funny the fad has turned into a RC car.

It was only $50. Not bad for a BIG RC car.

I bought it, was kind of dissapointed. Does'nt turn hardly at all and kinda slow.

I got one today. I want to paint mine white and dye the interior blue.

My son got a '72 camaro that's about that size and kinda has a Pro-Touring look to it althought the box doesn't mention it. It's by Nikko. Has a working suspension and everything and goes pretty good.

It's too big. I already have a coupla 1/8 scale Pocher models so don't have room for it in my collection. Pass.

1/6 scale is huge. I'm having so much fun playing with it at work right now but I have cliped some tables during power slides and donuts.
