I currently have a 71 Barracuda getting painted, but I couldn't pass up this original rust free Arizona car. 1973 Plymouth Satellite....original down to the am radio. Runs and drives with cold a/c. Not a dent or ding in the body, but the bumpers will need a few dents worked out and rechromed.

Very cool car. So tell us, what are the plans? My second car was a 71 Satellite, so these are special to me.

Im not a restoration buff by any means... but a car that nice it would be a shame to do anything drastic to it. I'd have to keep that one as stock as possible.

I was figuring it would need to be placed in storage and then redone, but it is too nice. I figure it will be my cruiser this year. I forsee some larger diameter wheels and a RoadRunner bulge hood.

This thing still has the original exhaust system under it. It has only had one repaint and it is in extremely good shape.

Yeah, IMO if you do anything I'd limit it to non-permenant bolt-on stuff (ie, hood, wheels, etc). Nice originals of any make and model are getting darn hard to find, and are a nice change of pace since about every single car/truck gets the crap modified out of everything. Not that it's a bad thing, but to see such a pristine original have everything about it changed would be a shame.

But it's your car that's paid for with your money, so do whatever makes you happy..

My dad had a 71 GTX 440 that he sold a week before I got my driver's license! We both wish he'd have kept it though...
