I have a good running and driving LS1 and T56 that I swapped a few years ago in my 1968 Camaro that I'll be swapping out this winter. Only reason I'm selling is that I'm replacing it with a built LS3 and the motor will exceed the torque rating of the stock trans.
The motor is a roughly 80k mile stock bottom end, 799 heads, ls2 cam, and LS6 intake. Built to the same specs as a 2001 Z06 Corvette engine. Most of the internal bolts were replaced with ARP. I'll need to keep the engine accessories and oil pan since they are specific to my engine combo. Great oil pressure.
The T56 6 speed came out of a 98 Camaro with unknown mileage. Has an LS7 clutch, Luk throw out bearing, and speed bleeder with less than 2k miles. Has a Pro 5.0 shifter as well as fresh fluid with less than 2k miles and shifts great.
I've run this combo with a stock ECU and Holley terminator x and have a tune for both. Wiring is not included but I could provide a copy of the tune to get it up and running.
Everything is currently installed in the car and I won't be pulling the motor until after I put my car up for the season. Just hoping to get someone interested that can see everything in action before they buy.
I would sell them separately, but I would need to sell the engine first before I let the 6 speed go. Asking $4800 for the pair, or $2500 each. Located near Ithaca, NY 14850.
