S or N series 9” center section?

I am trying to decide on my next center section and am looking for advice on which series to go with. What is the difference between the two? What is the deciding point between the two? My car is currently about 75% street/ 25% short AutoX. Looking at going with a GearFX unit. Any help/info would be appreciated!

I thought the S was a casting made by Strange and the N was a Ford casting and the N stood for Nodular iron.
