Who makes the best aftermarket door hinges for 1st gen f-bodies? All I can seem to find are just new versions of the originals. I'm looking for a modern, top of the line, greaseable door hinge setup.

Surely someone is making a kit with 12-pt fasteners, nickel-coated pins, and grease nipples with covers?

Thanks!

Not a hinge kit, but a damn fine rebuilder

http://www.hoodhingerepair.com/

They provided a better than new rebuilt door and hood hinge for brother's Monte Carlo and my elCamino

Most of us rebuild our own ,with a brass bushing and pin kit .You could always do it yourself with your modifications

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm curious if there's a reputable rebuild kit.

Look at Ringbrothers. Pretty spendy but look sweet

Really? I've been all over their site and never seen door hinges!

I'll go check again....

EDIT: I don't see them, only for 2nd gens and a couple other vehicles. Not 1st gen f-bodies.

You are correct, I haven't been on their site in a while. I thought those were 1st gen. Is there much difference between the 2?

First gen doors are nowhere near as heavy as second gen doors. That’s why you see billet hinges for second gens. They’re really not needed for first gens.
