Hello All,
so about 8 years ago I posted for the time on this site when I decided on building a pro-touring Camaro I was 25 @ the time and wasn’t sure what area to tackle first. I had a 383 in the car I installed when I was in high school, parked the car to go to school, then I wanted a big block and was going to build a Rat Motor 454ci. Well then life happened and had my son and the ol gal stayed parked. Fast forward to 2019 I sold my 454 and my beloved TBSS was T-Boned and totaled out. Trying to make lemonade out of the lemons, a good friend of mine told me to just buy my truck back and take the engine and Trans out and dive headfirst into building my car.
After a few months of waiting on the insurance to release my truck. My friend pulled the motor and Trans for me (he wanted the roller), after some thinking I decided to convert the car from an automatic with a T56!
So enough of my rambling on and here are some progress pix for your viewing
