I was wondering if anyone is running this setup in their 67-69 F body? I currently have stock subframe and old style Ridetech air bar (circa 2008) with Ridetech SA coilovers front/rear. I am having rear end housing (9”) issues and am looking to change my rear housing. I have always wanted DSE suspension in my car but am not ready to to swap everything (front and back) right now.

Also looking to put on DSE floater end on which ever housing I go with to match my C6 Z51 brakes.

Any info/advice on this setup would be appreciated.

I’m running DSE’s Quadralink in my 68 Camaro but I also have their front subframe. The only issue you’ll have when your done is wishing you had done something to the front too, lol! But seriously, you’ll be very pleased with it and it should interact fine with your stock subframe. I plan to upgrade to the full floater myself at some point...I didn’t realize what a big difference it would make at the time and it was budget prohibitive but definitely worth the money. You didn’t mention if your car was mini tubbed, but I’d do that at the same time as the Quadralink if you haven’t already. You’ll be doing a lot of work in the trunk area anyway so it’s a good time. Also, the guys at Gear FX are quality people and helpful to talk to if you have questions. I just put the QL in my 67 Nova project as well and was wanted a 9” but was worried about noise issues, etc. they spent time with me on the phone and even sent me a new pinion seal for free for the 12 bolt in the Camaro even though it was bought from DSE prior to them coming on board.

With the rear end and especially with the floater...get it from Detroit Speed (built by Gear FX). Places like Moser will screw it up (don't let anyone else do it). You can buy the Q-link from DSE without the brackets and buy the complete floater housing with brackets. Buy the axles from them, but look to possibly buy the 3rd member from someone direct like Moser or Gear FX (avoid price mark-up). BTW...if you don't go floater and decide later, just a new housing. Once I bought he floater ends, shipping both ways, and labor...I could have bought a new housing and sold the other one.
