I'm plan on running 315/35/20 tires out back on my 1970 Cutlass. The rims are 20"x11" +11 offset and 6.43" BS. Frame has a HPI customs frame bracing kit, suspension is a Ridetech Coilover kit, and the rearend is a QP 9" that has been shortened 1" on each side. Will I have to notch the frame any with this setup?

This is what it will look like to the inside:

It will be almost touching the frame. You will need to have 3/4" to 1" notched out of the frame and then move the entire wheel well "inside" the same amount. I'm going through this process right now for a 325/30/19 tire. Mine is a little wider but your 6.43" BS on a 20x11 tire will put your tire almost exactly where mine is now to the inside on my 71 442. The good news is you will have more room to the outside so you should be good there. Maybe just roll the outer lip to be safe.

Here's some pics of a notch for reference:

Great job you did there. The body has to come off the frame anyway so it won't be that big of an issue. What guage metal did you use? I will notch it 1" and call it good. Now my concern will be moving the inner fender 1". Hopefully I can just roll it. Don't want to go through the minitub ordeal.

That wasn't mine - just a pic for reference on what has to be done. The cutting on my frame starts next week. I'll post pics on the progress on my upgrades thread. The body is not coming off the frame so it's going to be fun.

Much power to you. I'm doing mine this week. Hopefully it will go well. Thankfully I have access to a plasma cutter which will make doing it a bit easier.

I decided I will be notching my frame 1" and filling it with 1/8" plate. Going to also do a mini tub once I am done with the frame. To do the mini tub I will cut the inner well in half and add a 2" strip of sheet metal back down the middle. Then I will weld the 2 side back together with spot welds.
Does this process seem sound?

ABC performance sells a widened wheel well so it looks completely stock fyi ... abcperformance.net

I looked into them. Not really concerned about it looking stock. I will see how this turns out then look into ABC if disaster strikes. $30 and some time VS paying their $500+ price for wells.
