Any recommended LS shops around not too far away? Really considering a 530HP LS crate instead of EFI swapping my on my rebuilt Buick.

I can't help with shops, but this is a pretty well documented and straight forward swap...Holley makes everything you need.

Yeah Andrew this $7,399 LS3 is really tempting!

I’m thinking it would be so much better to drive all around and less to worry about it the long run vs. this BBB. To even get past the 500HP on this motor I’d have to go with aluminum heads and so much more needed little details which will add up really quick!

Looks like a great engine, although I do not have direct experience with it.
Here are all the parts that Holley makes for the swap:

I would use the 1" forward mounts, the 302-2 or -3 pan, and the crossmember for whatever trans you want to use. I would also go with the Terminator X Max EFI system, which has DBW and trans control. You can use a 2009 Impala SS DBW pedal, which is practically a bolt in for 68-72 a-bodies. Holley also makes various styles of headers and full exhaust systems.
Lastly, for the fuel system, I would consult with Carl at VaporWorx and use on of his fixed pressure 5th gen Camaro SS fuel modules. You will end up with a very reliable and fast car.
If I can be of service with the tuning or wiring, let me know.

Thanks for the info and help Andrew. Man it looks like Holley really is the one stop shop nowadays. Thing is I’m limited with space and time. My garage is a mess right now and I have seven family cars here already all needing something done lol! If I can find a good LS shop that’s fairly reasonable I think I might pull the trigger.

When you find a shop, make sure they use the Holley parts. You'll have a high quality swap. Good luck!

The LS dream is on the back burner for now. I ended up getting my Mustang back. I still may go with the Holley Sniper EFI though. Thanks for looking out!
