I have a very basic question, but can't seem to find a reliable answer. How much CFM does a mild LS3 need? I'm afraid my small K&N universal filter may be too small.

(CID x max rpm x VE) / 3456
636 cfm give you some headroom. KN says 6 cfm per square inch so you would need 10.5 square inches.
