Thought this be the best place to toss this subject since its typically a project that results in extra gaskets. I've got a load of gaskets; carb, valve cover, header, water pump, intake, rear end, extra seals, etc, the list goes on. Both rubber, paper, etc. What is the best way to preserve gaskets so they can be re-used a year or three later? I've found older paper gaskets will desentegrate to the touch, or rubber will split and crack. So, how do I preserve what I have?
