69 Camaro on 18's

Hiya all, I know there's plenty of threads on Camaro's on 18's, but does anyone have the same/similar set up as this?

Art Morrison IRS & Art Morrison GT Sport C6 IFS in a 69 Camaro
Minitubs in the rear, & Speedtech wide front tubs up front.


AME's guidance shows 295/35/18 working on the rear, anyone got a 315/30/18 in there?

And how wide can you run on the front before problems? If you can fit a 315/30/18 is it practical or just too wide?

Not sure if this will help but I have a somewhat similar setup and just ordered rims.

-No Limit Sniper IFS front subframe
-Anvil Auto deep front inner tubs
-Art Morrison triangulated 4 link rear end
-Mini tubbed


I spec'd out these sizes for my setup:

Front:
-18"x11" - 8" of back spacing - 315/30R18 toyo R888R
Rear:
-18"x12" - 8" of back spacing 335/30R18 toyo R888R

I realize we have different suspensions but after measuring my setup, I'm confident this will fit nicely under my car. You may want to get everything mocked up and check your turn radius and clearances from fender to fender. It's worth measuring 2-3 times and making sure you've got the right clearances.


I did roll the rear fenders just to be safe and avoid cutting those toyos out back.

i am at 335 30 18.. but i will say wish i had 19's tire selection on 18's is slim

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll have the suspension under the car in a couple of weeks & will measure it up, just trying to get a head start because it takes so long to get wheels from the States to NZ

Hey thanks, I hear you on the 19's & tyres, but I'm trying to stay with 18's. See how it goes,

I was able to fit 315s up front with the AME subframe with stock inner and outer fenders (I did have to roll the fenders). I track the car pretty regularly and only rub inner fenders on occasion. No problems on the street. I think you should be fine up front.

Don't go blindly off of these specs because I'm going off of a few random notes I have from a few years back. Looks like I'm running an 18"x10.5" with 6.5" backspacing in front.
