Anybody out there have a 69 Camaro/Firebird with a optima battery tray? And if you do does the Optima tray mount in or on the original tray? Or do you remove original tray to mount? Thanks

Alot of people use them, but not specifically Optima's brand. ICT...Schwartz Performance, Summit etc...I personally have the low profile one from Schwartz and it's great. When you use one of these trays, its usually to mount the battery in a non OEM location. If you put the battery in the OEM location, I don't see why you just wouldn't use the stock battery tray.
