I was wondering if anyone had a set of 18x12's with some 335's on them?

Within a month, I should be ordering rims for my truck, and Id really like to run these on the back. Nitto's speficically. They claim they're 13.19" wide. Id like some real world measurements on these. Like max section width. I usually took and layed mine on the floor, then took a straight edge across the front of them. Just measured from the straight edge to the ground then.

From my frame to fenderlip, I've got roughly 14" to work with. Im trying to stuff as much as I can under the rear of my truck.

Any help is much appreciated.

I have them on 18x11 wheels...

Nitto makes a 335?? I didn't know this.. please tell me they are the NTO1's..

My pilot sports are just over 13-inches wide so thier width seems about right. I could get an exact measurement of the Michelins if ya want.

I would very much appreciate if you would measure the sports for me. Id like to do an 11" rim, but can't find any I like, for a decent price. I can have 11's made in these, but will cost an extra $400. Or I could do 12" for like $150 more than 10"

No, they're drag radials. The 555R's. I've just got leaf springs in the rear of the truck still, and tractions a bitch, even just on the motor alone. I blew my 15" drag radials right off at 50 mph rolling into WOT in 2nd gear on the nitrous. Banging gears hard will blow them off without the nitrous.

Im probably gonna run those, or the sports.

I think the nittos will give better traction, but sports to handle better.

I heard that they're supposed to be making more/wider sizes in their 555RII, but we'll see. I heard BFG's supposed to be coming out with a tire similar to the 555RII in the spring as well.

I wanna tuck as much meat under the truck as I can. Thanks for your help. This would help out TONS.

Section on a Michilin is 13.6" on a 12" rim.

Just FWIW, Nittos are notorious for running thin, as opposed to other brands. The Nitto 315/35/17 drag radial is a great example of this, much narrower than the BFG 315. Just something to take into consideration.

Thank you so much fellas, this is EXACTLY what I needed. Im sorry for bringing this up again. I searched a few days ago, but didn't find anything, only like 3 posts showed up for a 335/30/18" tire.

Thank you once again for all your help.
