Hello,
I am not at all new to building cars or fabrication. In fact, I like putting parts where they don't belong, Toyota engines in Jeeps etc. I love the process of cutting metal and figuring things out and so forth.
So.....I have a 67 valiant. Just rough enough to not care about, but solid enough to get something done with and invest in. I really can't sell it, and I don't want to part it out. It is a solid car with just enough patina.
I have the following pieces on hand. A gen 3 LS engine complete and running good with harness, a few Explorer rear 8.8s, and most importantly no issues with cutting the car up in a nice way. There is also a TH400 and stall convertor etc.
Are you aware of any build threads with C4 Vette stuff swapped into a Mopar? I have followed the $5k Mustang thread. Something sort of like that.
Any ideas or input? The end goal would be good performance for acceleration, excellent cornering and just a good car for hooning around. Probably end up with a cage and a turbo.
Any thoughts on the c4 stuff or other good ideas? I have been searching but not finding much...
