Looking for a cheap or DIY light for checking paint. I was thinking about the Match Pen R from Scrangrip.
I wanted to check to see if any painters or DIY folks had any advice.
Much Appreciated.

You can get a cheap fluorescent light fixture and hang it over or in front of the panel you intend on detailing.

I went with the Match Pen R for a little more money.

The pen is great for checking paint, but if you’re going to be doing paint correction you’ll need different light sources. I use an ATD 80335 and COB led lights that sit on the floor in addition to 5k overhead lighting. I also Use an Astro 50SL to check panels.
