It’s a great setup IMO. I don’t know why it didn’t catch on.

GM has ceased production of the 535 hence the liquidation price. There isn’t many left.

Is it a reliable setup? Room for any more power with just cam upgrade or would it require a lot of additional work to achieve 575-600?
Thanks
Jason

It has CNC heads so yeah would be a good setup, it's virtually the same other than the heads and cam.
As far as getting 575-600 you'll need the typical valvetrain upgrades.

Dale is this available through your ship or are they gone? Also as far as reliability, future possible hp upgrades,
Would you recommend this or the LS3 or LS7.
Comparing all 3 as crates as a starting place.
67 camaro pt car. Already has Speedtech front sub and rear torque arm. Ride tech tiger cage.
Mostly street.
Little autoX or maybe road course just for fun

1 left lol.
Call me tomorrow 815-206-2230

LS7 is dry sump only so find out if the stock pan works or if you need that speed tech one that’s been on back order for a while.

I prefer ls7 with a cam, gets you close to 600hp and is a 427.

The LT1 535 is hard to beat in my opinion for the price.

I finally pulled the trigger on an LS7 out of a wreck built by late model racecraft.
I plan to stay with dry sump unless that's a bad idea. Any thought on oil pans for that?
Headers?
As stated before i got a Speedtech front subframe .
LS7 going to mate to my old T56 with a .50 OD and 411s

There’s only 1 oil pan I know of, to use OE dry sump, and that’s the ATS Speedtech.

Headers: Ultimate Headers.
Accessories: Wegner (call me to order if going that route).
The dry sump is an advantage of the LS7, I would keep it.

Speedtech says they will no longer have this pan.
I guess I'm a dumbass for buying the engine before calling them . I looked on their site and it showed available for purchase but when I called they said no more.
You think the stock pan could be modified?

Speedtech says they will no longer have this pan.

Curious if they gave you a reason for no longer offering the pan?

Not enough sales and supposed problems getting parts. That don't really makes
Sense on problems getting parts.
Heck if I had a blueprint I'd build it.
ARE told me they THINK the ARE #1007 would work but couldn't verify for sure.
He did says Speedtech buys a bunch of that pan from them and that they have sold over 500 of them .
