I like to go with single adjustable coilover shocks on my monte and lower it at the same time.i can get jegs brand coilovers with 19 1/2" extension and 13" compressed.would that be too short?I'm on a one part at a time budget so I can't afford a complete kit.

You should ask Lance. He's an expert on the G Bodies and he has done all of that with his Monte. It'll depend on what your intended use is going to be such as, if you're going to autocross, track it, or just get groceries, on what would be the best and inexpensive choice. His Pro-touring.com username is SSLance.

might as well go with a Double Adjustable. We have a Coilover Conversion Kit that gives you multiple mounting Points. Combined with Viking Double Adjustables, you have a really nice package.

We have a nice selection of coilover products for the rear of G-bodies.

The UMI Green Machine has been on them for years. Good stuff.
