Hello, I have recently rebuilt my front end with poly graphite bushings, and installed the Hotchkis TVS system, and Baer SS brakes, and the Guldstrand mod. My question is, Im planning on running a 17" wheel but I can not afford them now, so do I need to wait and align the front end with the 17" wheels or does it matter. One other thing, do you think this will be a good set up for the street Thanks for your help

Align it as it sits. You will need to re-align the car after getting the new wheels. You should be fine on the street.

Changing wheel/tire combination has no bearing on alignment settings. 1* of camber on a 14" wheel is still 1* of camber on a 19" wheel. Align it as is and don't worry about changing wheels later.

Put on your final alignment now. You'll be alot more accurate for measuring for your wheels.

Yes, you are right to a point. I say to get another one later when he gets new tires. It's just a precaution for tire wear. You never know when your alignment is slightly out, and it's just for safety.

By that logic you might as well get an alignment every other month or so....because you never know. I wasn't right to a point, I was absolutely right.

I'd align it now and at least check it later. If the 17's have an offset that's much different from what's on there now, camber (and toe) could shift a little. Offset affects the overall motion ratio and the spring load (and ride height, as a consequence, which puts you at different points on the camber and toe curves). There shouldn't be any huge differences, though, unless a problem of some sort is developing.

Thanks again for all the help, I will let everyone know how it drives later on.
