Hi,
I am clearing out my storage and I am selling a new set of Brake Calipers Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left and "Rear Left" (Used for LS1 rear swap setup with staggered shocks). Sold.
I bought them for my 69 Camaro build, but ended up just using a different setup. These are new GM calipers, but not in the boxes. I took them out of the box and placed them in one box for storage. They are still bubble wrapped with the included hardware. These are Calipers only no brackets.
Pics can be seen on my local CL ad.

No pics of the rears but I will get them if needed.
Thanks,
Jorge

How are rear left and right calipers different?

How are rear left and right calipers different?
The calipers physically bolt up either way but the bleed screws for brakes should be placed at the highest point in a caliper to properly bleed the brakes. In a standard Left/Right configuration the bleed screws are at the top in their respective locations. When doing a LS1 brake swap on older cars or similar rear brake swap, the caliper on right side comes in close contact to the shock in with staggered shock 10/12 bolt rearend setups. In order to clear the shock, most people run two left side backing plates and two left calipers. This keeps the bleed screw at the top. You can technically run a left/right caliper on a staggered shock setup so long as you remove the caliper flip it upside down and bleed it and reinstall and the same can be said if you want to run a left left on a standard setup. Having two left calipers just makes it easier to bleed on the vehicle with opposing caliper swaps.
Hope this help.
Thanks,
Jorge

Just incase you are wondering what you need to install this on a older car.
Used parts: You will need to get two Corvette front abutment brackets and two rear Camaro LS1 abutment brackets. Two (left) LS1 backing plates for staggered shocks or a L/R for non staggered.
New parts: Mounting brackets for front C5 brakes and possible rear bracket (without e-brake) and a rearend spacer to provide an offset to run the LS1 baking plates.
