Car is already painted but has no previsions for a passenger side mirror. Whats the best way to go about mounting a passenger side mirror?

I just drilled holes the same measurements from the drivers side.

Have a look at our Clear shot mirrors.
Morris Classic mirrors eliminate the blind spot and you can
tighten the 2 screws recessed in the mirror head to add tension
to the ball & socket. No more loose mirror.

This is what was done on my car. The OEM mirror doesn't have enough adjustment/angle to be useful unless you sit up over the dash. So I used the below morrisclassic mirrors. I've put almost 60k miles on these mirrors and just recently the driver's side came lose and wouldn't hold position. I was initially bummed but a quick session with the screw driver and it's as good as new. Good product.

Does the Morris drivers side use the factory mounting points?

Yes they do. My car only had the drivers side originally. I measured the holes on the drivers side on drilled the holes in the pass door. I love the MCC clear shot mirrors.

Morris Classic Clear Shot mirrors have the same foot print as an original mirror.
However the mirror base is totally redesigned to Eliminate the Blindspot.
We also stamp our own mirror mounting bracket that comes with each mirror.
Our bracket is patterned like the original except it has slotted holes that mount to
the door.
Also look at our 3 point front & rear 3 points that are year & car Specific
Thx for the Compliments and Purchases.
Thx, Billy

It covers the hole on the drivers side for the factory interior adjuster? Its just hard to tell from pictures so I want to make sure.

The driver side mirror base completely covers the hole for the remote mirror. The Morris mirrors are really nice! I have their 3 point belts in two cars also. Love them!

I would start by putting it in the same location as the drivers side. Mark it with tape. Have someone hold it in place and make sure it is useable. I’ve put one on a car once to find that it was right in line with the passenger A pillar and was useless.
