Can I use 17s with the C5 setup?

I am on my '68 Camaro, as does the C5.

Some 17" wheels will not clear a C5 caliper & C5 rotor combination. In those cases you can use a C4 rotor to gain more wheel clearance (C4 rotor has more offset than the C5). You can go to Touring-Classics site and download their wheel fitment templates for both the C5/C5 and the C5/C4 (i.e. hybrid) brakes.

Can you educate me on the C4/C5 hybrid systems. Is this using the larger C4 rotor with the stonger C5 caliper? Is this what you have with your TTIIs?

Yep, the hybrid kit from Touring-Classics is what I have on my Nova. It utilizes the larger C5 caliper along with the C4 rotor (13" diameter - 1.1" thick). The system works VERY well and I highly recommend TC. The kit (both front and rear) was very complete, the installation instructions were excellent and their customer service can't be beat (oh and their prices decent as well). Check out the link in my previous post for more detailed info on the Hybrid kit.
