Hey guys I am planning a LS swap in a 72 Skylark.
now i am wondering what i should do regarding motor choice.
Goal is a reliable "hotrod" with decent performance & AC but reliability is key.

Im not looking for Drag motor but also not for a stock motor swap.
planned is a GEN3 LS, question is N/A ? or possibly boosted?

i have a 5.3 LC9 Turbo purpose build SBE(243 heads, Lunati voodoo turbo cam all new bearings and rings)

So a option would be to use this LC9 and run it N/A ( change CAM). But what power potential do i really have with a cammed N/A 5.3 LC9?
or
The other option is to get a 6.0, here i know i will be satisfied with the N/A potential ( heads, Cam, Intake, Tune)

further i can use the 5.3 LC9 for what i build it for in the 1st place and turbo it (Power is no question here) , But does that defeat the reliable factor?
