I was thinking about ditching the resistorpack, because I don't want to clutter up my engine compartment with wires. But I have yet to find anyting else that would work. I was thinking about what Vintage Air is using for their speedcontrol for the fan motor. Anyone know how they do it? or have other ideas?
Please share your thoughts
Thanks

As far as I know, everyone uses a combo of resistors. Some use var. res. like a potentiometer. That would be less wires. Umm, I dont know of anyone who sells a kit or anything. Even if you use the resistorpack, all your wires should be under the dash and just 2 wires to the motor, var. ground, and 12V supply.

well the resistorpack have to be mounted so that air flows over them for cooling or they will burn out. I was woundering if there might be other more modern resistorpacks, that are not as large as the one I have now.
