Hey I’m Dave. New to the forum, I am here to pick brains on a few things I want to accomplish. I have a 93 stepside and my goal is to build a custom interface to control everything windows, climate, lighting ect. Also have tuning capabilities. Also use sensors to monitor the normal stuff such as temp gas mileage speed via the computer. The catch is my truck is pre obd2. Also want to ad air ride and control that too. I’m going to ls swap and spend a ridiculous amount of cash I’m sure. If anyone has experience in Canbus/Lin or doing what I described I’d love to talk to you.

Ok so my question is why . Say you run everything thru a iPad. Now if the iPad takes a dump ... you're up that terrible creek with out a paddle . Yes ?
