Guys,
I seen this on another forum and thought we could make good use of it here. What the heck...it is Christmas and all. Basically you offer up any Pro-Touring related car parts and the first one to respond in this thread gets it (usually the person getting the freebie arranges for pick or delivery)!!

So let me be the first, to offer up a free set of pads (if I have them in stock) to the first person that responds. If I do not have the pads I will make good on some other goodie here at PBC!

C'mon clean out that garage of yours!!! The wife may even thank you later!!

hey i totally need a set of pads!! stock front disc brakes for a 78 bird?

I have no parts whatsoever that are worth anything to anybody, though...:crying: unless you want a totally destroyed old quadrajet...or if you guys can think of anything else that somebody that has done intake, exhaust, carb, !egr, tranny, clutch, and driveshaft mods might have, feel free to ask me!

Good idea Laramie.

Okay:
I have a nice early 70's 350 2 bolt block (1971?) here for the taking. Crank, rods, pistons are still installed, but the short spent one winter outside so it is very rusty. Take it apart, freshen the block and merry Xmas. No, I will not go to the trouble of shipping it to you. If you want it, come and get it. If not, it will continue to sit in my garage where it has been for four years.

I have a full car set of drums (with some backing plates) from my 69. I know they aren't PT per say, but maybe someone needs them for a restoration. They are rusty, but free to anyone that wants to pick up or have shipped. I also have a front sway bar from the 69, stock, that can be had as well.

I've got a bench seat for 68-72 A-bodies (believe it's from a 68 Chevelle). It's tan. It needs a new cover or some duct tape. You'd have to pick it up - shipping would be unpleasant.

I've also got an AC compressor and a carburetor from some manner of Ford. I can't be more specific as they were left behind by the previous owner of my house, but I might remember to get pics if anyone cares.

Now this is a nice thread :) Too bad I live in Europe though...

It's a funny coincidence that I earlier this morning gave away 3 stock Volvo 960 aluminum rims to a guy on a norwegian car-forum. He has the same kind on his Volvo, and had managed to run one of his rims into a curb. It's nice to help someone with something I considered to be scrap metal.

Merry christmas everyone!

I'll throw something in the pile that may help someone out...

1989 350 two bolt 4.00 bore bare block out of a 1500 2wd truck. Factory roller cam bosses are there/drilled and it will possibly need to go .010 over on the cylinders to clean them up (I havent mic'ed it but it looks/feels like minimal bore wear). The bad part is #1 main bearing spun so a line bore will need to be performed to repair.

Its been stored inside my garage so there is minimal/no rust to deal with and IMO would make a decent foundation for a build that will use off the shelf roller cam stuff. Its in my way really but not enough to throw it away so if someone wants it come get it. Due to weight/cost/time constraints I cant ship it.

If someone really wants the stock heads from that same motor I'll throw them in the deal too. Extremely minor bowl work/clean up done and they performed flawless for ~10k miles until an exh valve burned. Theyll need a valve job and valve seals but the guides have minimal wear since the motor only had 87k miles on it to begin with and no cracks or other issues. Great heads for a truck or daily driver IMO since youd spend tons of money with a head porter to get them to flow even close to what unported after market heads would. Ive hung onto them as spares for my trucks but since I have two more sets these can go to someone that could possilby use them.

Mark I am glad you got it, it was sitting on a shelf for ten years collecting dust. I only build the 1/12 stuff now. If you ever do any 1/12 parts for models let me know.
