Hey guys. I haven’t been around this forum for a loooooong time. I used to have a ton of fun talking about my ‘68 resto-mod here and everyone was super helpful and awesome to be around. As per usual, life got in the way and I ended up ditching my project. (I know, I know...be nice now) anyway, I sold off most of my parts and found the “hard to get” items for that project in my garage while making room for dirt bikes and other fun stuff for the kiddos.
I’m selling off the never installed custom Ford 9” rear axle made for a ‘68 Camaro (assuming the dimensions are the same for all first gens). THis axle is standard width. This kit includes a Detroit Speed Quadralink suspension (shocks not included) for the first gens, custom made Ford 9” axle, third member (no gears or carrier) and a rear disc brake conversion kit including black calipers with gloss black powder coated parts, custom mounts, and brake pads (rotors not included). Also included is as Wilwood adjustable brake proportioning valve, and custom 31 spline Moser chromoly axles. The axle and third member need a quick cleaning and will be ready for powder coating for any color you want for your project. To be clear, there are no rotors or shocks with this kit. The Quadralink suspension is $2756 (including shocks) alone from Detroit Speed. I am asking $2,500 OBO for everything including the custom axle and chromoly axle shafts, DSE Quadralink suspension, axle with brackets already welded on, calipers/pads/mounts.
