I have seen several threads started on these calipers and figured I'd post a few pics. We too will be jumping on the chance to offer these monster calipers in different upgrades we will produce. We will soon be offering a kit with these calipers and 14" rotors. Pricing should be the best from those (companies) who buy in bulk.
We have heard these calipers are having some issues with pad wear despite their obviously unique design. The pads have been reported to wear unevenely. We should have different options in pad compounds as well.
Here are a couple of pics I found showing the caliper that is raising so many questions. It's a monster!

Has anyone else heard reports of uneven pad wear on these? (This calipers holds 6 indivdual pads for those who did not know.)

A good friend of my dad's picked up a brand new ZO6 , and had it back at the dealer with less than a 1000 miles on it, due to a stuck pistion.
The tech who worked on the car noted that the pads were not wearing in a uniform fashion.

I love the way these brakes look and may be interested in upgrading one day from my C5 setup.

I'll post pricing as soon as I can. As many know sources are limited for these calipers. Should provide a decent percentage of upgrade though, I'll post specs as well when we get the first kit done.

My brother works for GM and I stated this was a concern last week on a different thread. Unfortunately, that thread was heavily modified by the admin due to Yodi and I getting into it.
Anyways, he stated that the middle pistons put more pressure on the pads and causes them to wear unevenly. He also stated that GM is working on a TSB which will replace these calipers with new ones that do not have such a problem. He said that this TSB should be out mid year and will affect all C6's with the 6 piston caliper.
YES< I already asked if there were any plans for a new pad design and he said NO. He said that it is strictly a piston problem. To his knowledge, they are not redesigning anything...just making what is out there failsafe.
FYI, my brother has worked for GM for 13 years and is pretty high up on the food chain there. AND his company car is a C6 right now. He will be driving it up here for X-Mas, so I will attempt to pic the calipers and show the wear of the pads to the mileage of the vehicle for you guys.
BTW: The calipers are really nice looking and will definitely make some of your rides stop on a dime. What size wheels are recommended with these? Can 18's fit them in there?

It appears that PBR didn't put in staggered pistons. I think that has a lot to do with un even pad wear.

as yody stated earlier in that thread 18"s is a minimum.
lets see pad for each piston...i think uneven wear is part of the design. Think about it, on a single piston caliper, used pads always a slight wedge in then. I think multi piston design would be worse.

Tito, you may be on to something there. Take a look at the Brembo 6 piston calipers. The pistons are different sizes. I tried to ask my brother about it, but he knows that I post on boards and told me that he couldn't provide a definitive answer for me to post.
