Heidts IRS

Considering a Heidts IRS for my 1969 Camaro but wanted to check to see how much power others were able to make to the tire without blowing the half shafts to pieces? I'd like to make in the neighborhood of 800-1000 rwhp with it. Is anyone else running a Heidts IRS with similar power? Does it hold up out of the box or did you need to do anything to beef it up a bit, etc?

I don't have first hand experience with the Heidts IRS, but just looking at the design, I don't think it will hold up to that much power. The Art Morrison design uses a more advanced multi-link design and the S60 differential. I think it is a better candidate for that much power.

Do some searching. I think there are a couple of builds here that use the AM IRS.
