Full manual 4L80E

I am thinking about going full manual with the 4l80e until I can afford to upgrade to efi and trans controller all in one. My question is how streetable is a manual 4L80E and is it hard on the transmission? Seems like repeatedly shifting at full pressure would shorten it's life but I'm no transmission expert.

Look at the instructions that come with the transgo full manual kit. It's not something that you pop in and out.
