I’m in the process of moving, movers coming in Monday! Trying to clean the garage up and move the car. Bought fittings did the DSE rack and the new fitting is too tall
and bottoms out!! Has anyone seen this before? It’s obviously a DSE “oops”...what am I going to do? Can I run the PS pulley with no lines connected?

The hose side is too tall or the rack side? If it’s the rack side you could grind them to make them shorter for a temporary fix.

The rack side, the threaded body is too tall so when it bottoms out, the nylon washer isn’t even touching.

Easy fix, grind them down.
I thought those were o-ring fittings. That might be why they are too long but I am not positive.

Did you try the fitting in the other port? Maybe one is deeper than the other?

My part number is 090210s for the high pressure side which is closer to the front of the car and the 090210L for the low side closer to the firewall on the rack

The threads are different. The high pressure is 9/16” and the low pressure is 5/8”. My original fittings were the same height.

Got a new fitting direct from DSE, same one. I guess I will call Dan Oddy,

Very strange. We just installed two of these last week and zero issues.

Issue resolved. Turns out DSE did have bad stock that did not meet their specs. They are getting it fixed and will be proving me the correct fitting.

It’s always nice when the customer does quality control for the seller....
