Thanx Andrew, yes I’ve been all over David’s & Mary’s build, both on this forum & as many more that Google can find for me. I’m hoping some others out there might have more recent experience with AME’s “compact cradle” versions which I’ve heard is more user friendly when it come to the overall installation, especially since it is now available with more or less a rear subframe assembly. The compact version is available at the expense of not having the more robust Strange Duffy. :-(
It is from reading about the “Pozzi Package” on the net that I first caught interest in this AME modification and have pursued it ever since. And unfortunately most of David’s photos are missing from his website and others that have covered his story.
And it seems that there is no one at AME that has any real first hand knowledge with the actual install nor have they any type of installation manual, etc. And they have declined to put me in touch with any recent purchasers of this component of their’s so that I might reach out to and establish any type of correspondence with them.
Hopefully there is a forum member from here that can point me in the direction of more information.
