I really wish I had been there to see this.

If anyone has more info on the car I would love to hear about it.

Interesting. Looks like it goes like stink, I wonder what it weighs.

" Waa, it doesn't burn fuel or make noise."

That's pretty awesome actually.

That is going to take some getting used to. The lack of sound is a little disconcerting but I think electric drive is going to be very hard to beat in autocross events in the future.

They will simply be put in their own class and eventually will be top dog over all other classes. Electric power is superior in every way, except range and "refueling." But that will eventually get better and better.

Yup. I see the writing on the wall. There will need to be a new class so the rest of us oil-burners can compete.

After riding in a Tesla in Ludicrous mode while at the Sandhills Open Road Challenge, it gave me some appreciation for just how hard an electric car can accelerate (and a sore neck).

Lot lower cost than my gas 427 Cobra. Carroll Shelby had a battery cell Cobra in his shop, and the torque was unreal.

Impressive but it has no "soul"... it's an appliance.

If only the person filming could have got a bigger obstacle in the way it would be perfect.

I think the builder would argue that. A car having a "soul" by no means is dependent upon what type of engine/motor it has. It's about the craftsmanship and love that went into it, as well as the cars unique flavor and character when it comes to design and ride/performance.

A Tesla has no "soul" and is a production line appliance. Although the electrical engineering is some next level sh*t in their integrated systems boards, it was still built by machines in a factory and not human hands with care.

This Cobra does not deserve that same disrespect.

Definitely cool, but it's not fun to listen too. I wonder how much that would cost

The aftermarket EV Controls T2‐C controller seems like a great way to control Tesla motors in swap vehicles since your control interface is an iPad.

Don't kid yourself, he has earbuds in that are making vroom vroom sounds.
