View Full Version : TH-350 Shifter Question - Alignment is "off"

I have a 1980 T/A with a TH350. When it pull the shifter back to engage Drive I have to pull it almost back to the 'S' to get it engage Drive. Then I pop it forward and it clicks into Drive and works fine. Is this an adjustment issue of some kind?

Yes, seems like your cable/linkage is out of alignment. There are plenty of videos/articles on how to do the adjustment on the web.
