For anyone else wondering https://anvilauto.com/products/chevelle/1964-1972/gm-bullet-mirrors.html

I will be trying to make these power , if anyone has done it or has any ideas please feed me the info , I was talking with anvil and the end result was if I could figure out how to make them power with stock O.E parts they'd be interested and would likely offer it as an option

I do also like these http://www.moto-works.jp/products/rr-mirrors.html which seem to have a little ring brothers type look to them without the ridiculous price

We used mirrors off of a mid 90s Buick Park Ave on our 69. They actually fit the body well, and give you a convex mirror on the passenger side. Plus you have the option for power mirrors if you want. And they are cheap on eBay.

Fair warning, the rubber gasket was hard to find, I think the passenger side was discontinued.

I think the side mirrors off the new mustangs would work well on a wide range of cars. I'm pretty sure ring brothers use some part of the mustang mirror for their builds. 162967

Yup I’ve been eyeing those mustang mirrors too. Although they’re still somewhat expensive.

I've got to figure out something too. I've got the original style mirrors on my '68 Camaro and they are terrible. The right side won't come in far enough to see out of without hitting the housing, I've had them a year and they have already started corroding on the chrome.

Guys I have solved all your problems. Check these out! They are from a 13-18 Lexus ES and they fit the door and the style lines perfectly! Just had to grind the inside bracket a little. I can post exactly what I did if anyone is interested. It has turn signal, puddle light and of course power movement up/down and left/right. Since it’s an OEM part the quality is excellent unlike aftermarket cheap mirrors and they look expensive. But were only $90 each brand new!

I fitted a set of Dodge Challenger mirrors on my 2nd gen Firebird project. The mounting angle was spot on.

Not sure if its the angles but that mirror looks HUGE on that car.... if they were scaled down a little I think they would be the way to go, just my opinion though.

I kinda thought the same thing , which us why it is quite hard putting newer mirrors on classic cars , strictly on a proportional aspect

In person they look very proportional. Lexus actually runs the same side mirrors on all their vehicles. Just the mounting bracket is a little different from model to model. Initially I really liked the Lexus IS side mirror and that car is pretty small. I bought a set but the mounting bracket was totally off. Then I noticed that all their actual side mirrors are the same just the mounting bracket was different so I decided to buy a set from the ES because the door is more flat and vertical and it also has a body line running where the 69 Camaro is. Ultimately it worked out perfect in my opinion. Size wise they are the same as the new mustang (pictured earlier) and they are also the same as the Ford Fusion which btw are nice as well.

I also noticed if you paint them body color they stick out way less. Like if your car is white but you have black side mirrors obviously the mirrors will stick out way more

How do you get it to mount to the ceiling like that??

Those look great btw. Once I turned my phone upside down.
I have a pair I plan to mount on my 71 which has 1st gen Mirrors. Which are all wrong. I like the Matte black look. That was my plan vs body color since I don’t know the color of my car. It’s a darker blue and more of an all business kind of look. Might follow your lead and black out the door handles like you did. Not going all black out tho. I have a split bumper and looks sweet with stock chrome - IMO

Have a look at Clear Shot Mirrors.
Eliminates the Blind Spot & has 2 screws
in the back to tighten the ball & socket if
ever needed, 3 yr warranty.
Looks close to stock but always stays adjusted
and you can actually see the lane beside you.
Has the classic car look
We also have a Blue Low Glare Glass option.

I used '71 Challenger mirrors on mine - fabricated up my own stalks to make 'em work

I'm using 2nd Gen Camaro mirrors for my 67 Camaro. I have to move the RH mirror rearward more than I'd like to clear the wing window. I kept it as far forward as possible. Mid 70's full size cars like Olds/Buick use similar mirrors but they are slightly larger. The door mountings are at a steeper angle so they would need some mods to work on a Camaro. I think they have studs in the mirror mount. I did have a heck of a time glass beading the factory paint off the Camaro mirrors. I found if I sanded the paint first, it gave the glass bead something to work on and I had a lot better success. As far as I can tell, the drivers side mirrors are all mechanical remote type and they get loose. Need to find a way to tighten it up.
