The 67 SS is really coming along now. The body is back on the frame, and my custom driveshaft is ready, and the custom crossmember is almost done. Everthing has been wetsanded (doesn't show in pics), and my New wheels are in and fit perfect :icon996: The reconstruction of the rest of the car starts this week. Merry Christmas to me!

Thanks Ralph, They are 18" up front, and 20" in the rear. I think they really make a big difference.

Thanks, it's a House of Kolors 3 stage paint. Cinder red metallic base with Kandy Tangerine over it. Like I was saying earlier in the post the paint in the pics has not even been wet sanded yet. It's turning out really well. Here are a few more pics of the color.

Thank you very much. That means a lot to me coming from someone with the quality of vehicle you have. The camaro is simply awesome. I'm really considering selling this car when its done to build a camaro myself. I guess we'll see what happens. Thanks again.

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate it. I've been working hard on this and can't wait to see it complete. I'm not sure what you mean by over plan. As far as the drivetrain goes: A 10.44:1 CR 468 Cubic Inch Big Block with Oval Port Heads (2.19/1.88), Titanium Retainers, air gap, forged pistons, Demon 850, considering a ram air setup through inner front headlights, aluminum afco radiator, completely stainless fuel and brake lines, and soon to have a March Pulley setup. A richmond 6 speed connected via custom driveshaft to a 12 bolt posi with 3:73 Richmond Gears. It has ceramic coated Hooker Super comps with 3" exhaust going to 40 series Flowmaster mufflers and custom exhaust tips. I also added an AGR billet quick ratio steering box. As far as suspension goes, I have: Hotchkis front and rear stabilizer bars powdercoated chrome, Hotchkis lower control arms, Hotchkis front and rear lowering springs, KYB gas-a-just shocks, adjustable upper control arms, factory disc brakes (soon to have drilled and slotted rotors), and all new bushings and ball joints. There are probably a few items that I have forgot. Basically everything is new. I'll definately keep you posted because it was supposed to be done on x- mas day, but there is no way. Wiring should be finished this week, and dynamat should cover the inside in the next couple weeks with the interior to follow.
Thanks for the interest.
Rich

That color looks incredible. I can't wait for you to push that thing out into the sunlight so we can see how it pops. I bet it'll pop beautifully.

I was actually at the body shop earlier today and was temted to ask them to push it out. It has all been wetsanded, but only part has been buffed. I have some older pics of it right after paint that I am trying to locate. I will post them if I can find them. But as you know, there is nothing like seeing your car in the sunlight after being completely done! I hope its soon.:fingersx:

Thank you. They are my favorite as well. I checked out your web page. Nice job. The 67 chevelle ram air induction picture from the year one car is the direction I think I am going. Not set in stone yet.

awesome color choice and wheels!!

Thanks a lot. I am really happy that I stuck with this color. I was initially going to paint it Liquid Silver. The House of Kolors paint is top notch. I'm very happy. As far as the wheels go, I cannot wait to mount them. We are going to wait until the project is almost done because we don't want them messed up. We did already mock them up as you can see. Thanks again for the compliment.
