Is there a preferred brand to go with for power door locks? I want remotes. I want quality with no problems! Thanks

Modo Innovations has decent kits.

We've used a lot of the Dakota Digital kits.

If you want a push button start as well, the Digital Guard Dawg PBS-II is a good unit too.

The remotes/receiver are generally the problematic part... Actuators are very simple parts and will last a while if theyre installed correctly. While slightly less plug and play, a Viper or Compustar keyless entry kit would be better in the long run for expandability, and tech support from either a local car audio/electronics shop or over the phone. I happen to prefer Compustar over directed electronics (viper)
