Not sure where to post this since its not an EFI.

Running a carburated 408( well should be when it arrives in a few weeks)
Stock fuel tank with external electrical fuel pump from holley
Got filters, pressure regulator and a return line in place.

Question is, where do i best install my return line?

My fuel tank has a drain plug so i was thinking to connect my return on the drain plug.
(Just not sure if this might cause an issue?)

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

The higher the better so the fuel has an unrestricted path.

Get rid of that glass filter! They crack and leak.

Return line to the top of the tank if possible, X2 on the glass filter asking for trouble, return line should prevent vapor lock.

Just checking... you have a "bypass" regulator, correct?

You could tap or weld a bung low on the filler neck.

Was thinking about doing it that way, saves me the issues of dirt getting in my fuel tank when drilling a hole into it..
