Hello, so after much reading I think I want to go with a https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sne-550-511 Holley Sniper unit and a https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-18688 Aeromotive Phantom fuel pump set up.
I have a 350hp SBC crate engine in a 82 chevy truck with a carb. I plan on getting a new tank from a 87 which came from the factory with fuel injection and that will make sure I have no junk in the current tank and then I dont have to worry about blowing myself up installing the Phantom pump. My truck is already set up with a return line and I already have a pressure regulator set up with my carb for the high flow mechanical pump. I also have a stock-ish HEI distributor and wasnt sure if it would be worth researching a FI system that could control timing, also would be worth it and what the extra cost would be.
So I guess my question would be is there a better way to do this? I really want to do an in-tank fuel pump, and the only real plans that might change down the road is adding in some electric fans for the radiator, which I read this unit can control if I understood it correctly.
