Hello,
We bought a roller-‘67 camaro ready for paint with no Powertrain. We have a LS3/TR6060 to install and are deciding the subframe and rear end. We want a comfortable cruiser that can still handle in the curves. Am looking at the Hotchkis set-up. They take an aftermarket subframe (ADM?) and add their components. I would also buy their subframe connectors to stiffen the unibody. They also have front subframe connectors that bolt to the upper A arm area and connect to the firewall where the hood hinges bolt in. The rear would be a 9” rear end with multi leafs and a sway. Anyone else have their kit? I am trying to keep the unsprung weight down and heard that Currie makes a lighter 9” rear end. Any thoughts? Going with American racing aluminum rally wheels-17x8 front and 17x9 rear. Do not want a stiff, beating ride. Stage 1 Hotchkis has non adjustable Fox shocks and stage 2 has adjustable shocks. Any advice is appreciated!
