Plan to install front & rear coil over system on my 65 442 ...and i´m not sure if these brackets are only for better traction if drag racing a car or also for lowered cars ...do i really need them ?

Good morning.
That's actually a complicated geometry question. For an uncomplicated answer, the tendency is to have some angle in the lower arm, facing downhill toward the back.
When we lower these cars if the arm is uphill toward the back we use relo brackets to get the angle back in to the system.
Without doing math, at the dragstrip for instance, we'll do a test hit and take notes. Then move the arm down one hole and try again.
If using a UMI 4057 rear coilover, they come with relocation by default so you can always experiment.
