68 Camaro Which front sway bar????

Which one? I have tubular A-arms, Pro-forged BJ's and Viking coil overs w/550# springs.
Just another pro tour wannbe street cruiser


They seem to range from 1", 1.125, 1.250 to 1.5"
Range from $145.99 (Summit) to $525.00 (Ridetech)
Would I really notice any difference between a 1.5" Ridetech muscle bar for $525 and a Summit 1.125 for $146 ???

Keep in mind that some of the cheaper ones are made from solid bar, so they're heavy. Personally I'd go hollow bar to save weight.

I have the Hellwig 55705 and I like it for my suspension/tire/vehicle weight combination and intended use. It's 1 1/8" hollow and available for less than $200. I think it's worth paying a few extra bucks for the tubular one to save a little weight. Regarding band, it's a piece of bent tubular spring steel - there can't be much difference between one brand and the next.

1 1/8" is a pretty typical diameter. You may see a benefit from a 1 1/4" bar if you're running really wide front tires, have a heavier than average car (big block), or have a big rear bar on the car. It's all about having a matching combination.
