I don’t have a deck yet but was hoping there was a simple solution of just having a Bluetooth car stereo. Obviously need outputs for speakers and woofers. Don’t want cd or radio. I would also like it to be mounted in a hidden place. Any help would be great.

Here you go. Some require an amp, some already come with one.

I use the Kenwood BT amp in my Cougar:

I actually use another mono small Kenwood amp that is driven by the 1824BT. This amp powers a small subwoofer behind the passenger seat. I bridge the 1824T so it is giving 100w to two front channels. Both amps are mounted behind the stock radio bezel under the dash of my Cougar. I use good quality 6.5" Polk Audio component speakers in the kick panels.
The system sounds great.

I'm actually going a similar route. I was looking for Bluetooth amps and head units but the ones with the high quality audio codec are pricey and I don't think a modern radio looks right in a classic. You can get a Bluetooth adapter from JL audio for $40 that wires directly into the RCA inputs on your amplifier and has the high def codec
Run any amp and you have a hidden high quality sound system. If you look some amps have "remote level control" which lets you put a volume knob somewhere instead of having to use your phone all the time.

I'm thinking of adding a Bluetooth receiver also and I might choose the JL. Thanks for the info.

Not Bluetooth, but for us iPhone users Apple CarPlay (https://www.bestreviews.guide/apple-carplay-receiver?&origin=google&google_params[matchtype]=b&google_params[network]=g&google_params[device]=c&google_params[creative]=381543623188&google_params[keyword]=&google_params[adposition]=1t2&google_params[adgroupid]=76772379734&google_params[campaignid]=6490998898&bs=&google_params[feeditemid]=&google_params[targetid]=dsa-19959388920&google_params[loc_interest_ms]=&google_params[loc_physical_ms]=9011811&google_params[devicemodel]=&google_params[target]=&new_api=true&dest=0&sys_id=0|254&gclid=CjwKCAiA98TxBRBtEiwAVRLqu6fJVpAB3fEXQGCxhP2f iPKsDpp179EaX8zvlOGU1q8eI2B64LqnAxoCtQ0QAvD_BwE) is a sweet solution. I believe there's an Android version as well.

I’m having my prototype project professionally built. I can see if there is interest in him making multiple boards. It’s basically what you’re looking for but includes an aux input as well. Along with having bt and the good codecs it has a small display for track information and a minimalistic 3 button control. The board with the buttons and the display is separate so you could mount it in a stealth location. It’ll probably be way more than the solutions that you’ve been presented, but functionally it should be superior.

I ended up going to the jl unit. Have it mocked up for know. Works well. I like it a lot and it was dirt cheap at 40.00 dollars
