Hello everyone from Russia! This is my first major project that came to my workshop, the owner’s main goal was to install a rear axle from BMW e30 and put the car on the threshold, then plans changed and it was decided to make a frame, install another engine and a quick air suspension, there will be many different modifications.
My workshop is only gaining momentum and developing, doing all the work myself.
I will be glad to those who follow the project, thank you all!

Cool project. Ladas are not known in the US. But when I lived in Colombia, there were some Ladas there.

I like the E30 rear suspension idea. I had an '88 325is. It was a very good handling car.

The word you are looking for is "rear end" instead of "bridge." I understand why the translator failed...it is the same word in Russian.

Translation of language can be a small issue, but in the world of cool cars we are all brothers. If a word in language seems wrong, pictures tell the story.
We all understand and appreciate nice fabrication work and the effort that goes into it.
Also appreciate seeing something a little different getting a custom treatment and like seeing pictures of tools & work areas people in different countries have to work with.
Thanks for sharing.

Like the shock mounts. you are basically doing the same thing where you are that people here do to the better projects which is cut the ugly out and put something nice in it's place.
Sent you a personal message with a link in it to my old project just as a sample since you are new to the site here. You will see it under notifications in the upper right corner of screen. Just another way to talk with new friends here and exchange advise and information.

In the car "VAZ 2101" from the factory installed carburetor engine with a power of 71.4 hp
In our case, we have a modification with a 74.5 hp injection engine.
What is 74.5 hp ??? it sounds funny!
Our developers can not learn how to create more powerful engines. Therefore, we will remove it and in the future we will install a more powerful engine from another car.

At this point, why not really go crazy- convert it to a two door! Move the B-pillars back, extend the front doors by using sheetmetal from the rear doors, and use the rest of the rear doors to fill in the missing metal from wheel arches to the B-pillar.

PonchoJohn
02-28-2019, 12:02 PM
Looking at it, if you moved the B-pillars back 6-8 inches, it appears that they would line up with the new bracing you installed for the rear suspension's front mounts.

We will think about it, because the wheels will be other large diameter

Hello everyone, I wanted to hear your advice on how to do it better in the luggage frame, do not want to expand along the factory side members, insert along the new side members? If anyone can draw as best, friends, thank you all! (sorry for my English)
