I've searched for hours. My budget is holding my to the wheels I have for now. I'm running a Winters performance quick change rearend with 5/8-11 wheels studs.
I've enlarged the holes for the wheel studs but the isn't enough material to ream the wheel for a 1 inch socket.
I don't know if there's such thing as a lug nut spacer?
I can safely ream the lug nut holes slightly.
Is there a lug nut that has a long shank with the hex outside the wheel?
This project is emptying the budget fast. The solution would be some high quality wheels like ForgeLine but I simply can't afford it right now.
I'm signed up for USCA in April. I have to use what I have.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Might be easier to find 1/2 inch wheel studs and go back to those short term. Spline drive lug nuts might work, but 5/8 might be hard to find in those. Those wheels are not really designed for anything larger than 1/2 inch.

Moroso has 5/8 nuts that fit a 7/8" socket.

Thanks for the replays. I had a idea to save some money but it didn't work. I'm having 10 one off lug nuts made.
Its costing me Almost as much as one of my first choice wheels. Ahhhhhh, the price we pay to go fast. Lol

Thanks man! There isnt enough material to make room for even a 7/8 chrome socket.

A little late, but Ive put a socket in the lathe to thin it down a bit for wheels... just dont use it with an impact gun
