I thought Alston had some with a spring loaded sliding sleeve.

Well, Alston doesn't have it.
I saw one somewhere, it had a spring loaded sleeve.

sorry I tried looking. I asked along time ago, saved the link. But then lost the link. I believe it was Alston but not CA chassis works. Whats that other group named Alston???

But the AL lock sleeves are sweet. My past employer had them on his CP car. They are spring loaded and lock into place when you shut them. Sweet

Chassisworks use to have the spring loaded swing outs but I don't think they make them anymore. I've been in an order big tire car with them and didn't like the way they worked. They were large sleaves over the bar and didn't slide very well. I also remember them being bulky.

I remember seeing some on a trick cage in a track prepped Ferrari a few years ago. I wouldn't know where to start looking for them though.
