I'm going to replace the steering linkage on my 69 el Camino. My car had the SC&C Stage 3. I run about 6 degrees of positive caster. 100% street.
I was looking at the Ridetech kit on Summit and the Global West bump steer reduction steering knuckles so I can run more caster. Or should I just get Moog parts?
Any recommendations?
Thank you..

I'm not familiar with what all is in a Stage 3 kit, but I would be inclined to contact SC&C about it and see what they say. The caster change tells me enough stuff has changed that you may not get what you are after if you just bolt on somehting. If your spindles are different, too, then that just makes more stuff to potentially throw complexity into it. I ended up going with the Global West system (the whole kit) after talking to a few vendors - Doug is a sharp guy. But again, I'm not sure that kit you linked will work with the changes you have in place. WOuld definitely call them about that. Not sure how adjustable tie rod ends will do anything, as the geometry isn't changed.

I was assuming the OP lowered the car being as a stage 3 kit does lower it 1 inch I believe... maybe 1.5 inches

I'm using two 1/2" spacers. It was too low without any spacers. I'm still using the stock front coils, I have BMR 2" lowering springs in the back.. I like the front to be slightly higher then the back.. We used to call that the "Gasser" stance..
I made a spring compressor out of heavy all thread that compresses the spring up in its pocket so I can move shims around without taking anything apart except the shock...

I'd recommend a Proforged center link, idler and inner tie rod ends. Then supplement with a UMI race bump steer kit.
The UMI bump steer kit of course is rock solid. And the PF e-coat is really nice and the parts last a long time.

The Proforged pieces are good quality pieces. That steering linkage kit of ours that you see on Summit wouldn't be a bad route to go at all!
